welcome.
Solomon Hendrix is an entomologist. He is a doctoral student in Dr. Wendy Moore’s lab at the University of Arizona studying the diversity, evolution, and systematics of true hoppers (Hemiptera: Auchenorrhyncha) in the Madrean Sky Islands.
A naturalist, photographer, and musician, Solomon’s multimedial work is cross-disciplinary; focused on the intersectionality of art and science. His interest in entomology was initiated by his love for photography and descriptive science.
Solomon graduated with a BS in Insect Ecology and Conservation from the University of Delaware, studying morphological taxonomy under the advisement of Dr. Charles Bartlett.
